WHAT IS THE MICROBIOME
The microbiome is all the microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses) living in our body. An average human being would be made up of 100,000 billion bacteria, which would represent approximately 2 kg of our total weight. Clearly we have more bacteria in our body than cells (10 times more to be precise).
