What is collagen?

Collagen is a fibrous protein found in connective tissues of the human body and animals. It is the most abundant protein in the human body, making up an important part of skin, bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It plays an essential role in maintaining the structure and elasticity of tissues and organs.

Why take collagen supplements?

Collagen represents between 30 and 35% of the total proteins in our body. It is the main component of our skin, nails, hair, joints and bones. The production of collagen by the human body decreases from the age of 25 for 2 reasons: A decrease in the renewal of our cells producing collagen proteins A decrease in the rate of collagen production by these same cells. Collagen supplementation helps limit certain effects of aging: reduction of wrinkles and fine lines by firming the skin, improvement of the appearance of nails and hair. Taken as a supplement, collagen peptides are digested and then transported to cells responsible for transforming them into collagen fibers that will be integrated into the extracellular matrix of the tissues where they are naturally present.

Plant collagen does not exist. Is Age With Grace Powder Gluten Free? Are there any allergy risks?

Yes. Age With Grace powder is gluten-free. Indeed, ExceptionHyal Star hyaluronic acid is produced from bacterial strains and one of the biofermentation agents is derived from wheat, but there is no gluten in this hyaluronic acid. Yes, there are risks of allergies to fish which is present in collagen.

Does this powder have a taste?

Why does powder stick to your hands?

This is due to the amount of hyaluronic acid present in the formula, which charges 1000 times its weight in water upon contact. This proves the quality of our formula: 200mg of hyaluronic acid, a very high concentration of hyaluronic acid to plump up your skin.

Is there an ideal temperature for drinks into which the powder is poured?

Yes. Two ingredients in the formula are sensitive to high temperatures:
hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Above 60°C, these ingredients are no longer stable and risk losing all of their nutritional values. This loss could therefore lead to a reduction in the benefits of these ingredients and therefore the final results.
We therefore recommend letting your hot drink cool for a few moments before pouring in your daily dose of powder so as not to lose any percentage of the product's effectiveness!

Can collagen powder cause intestinal discomfort?
