Scientific results

Limits the development of acne flora*: Balance Your Pores anti-blemish treatment has an antimicrobial effect on strains of C. acnes known to be associated with acne-related dysbiosis.

Preserves the skin microbiota*: Balance Your Pores preserves the diversity of the microbiota, including the S. epidermidis strain, a major bacteria in the healthy microbiota. On 8 strains of the skin microbiota, no antimicrobial effect was detected.

Clinical results

Mattifying effect: after 4 weeks of using the tested product, the mattified appearance of the skin was significantly improved by 21%.

Regulation of sebum production*: after 4 weeks of use of the tested product, sebum production was reduced by 68% (see appendix 1).

Reduces blemishes: after 4 weeks of using the tested product, the number of sebum spots was significantly reduced by 55% and the sebum surface was reduced by 70%.

Can I use Balance Your Pores treatment in the evening?

Yes, it is even recommended to use it morning & evening for maximum effectiveness.

What is the pH of this treatment?

The pH of this treatment varies between 5 and 5.5. Balance Your Pores therefore has a rather acidic pH which limits the proliferation of bad bacteria (including acne bacteria).

Should I combine Balance Your Pores treatment with a moisturizer?

The hydration test carried out with the Balance Your Pores product shows a significant increase in hydration of the upper layers of the skin.

Does the treatment contain salicylic acid?

No. We did not use this ingredient in our formula because, although effective, it sometimes causes redness, itching and tingling, especially in people with sensitive skin. Furthermore, it is increasingly controversial because it is one of the active ingredients classified as CMR category 2, meaning that there are strong doubts about its toxicity to reproduction, its mutagenic and carcinogenic nature. For these reasons, we preferred to exclude it from our formula.

Why combine taking a food supplement with Balance Your Pores treatment?

The skin only meets 20% of its needs through the cutaneous route; the remaining 80% comes from our body through diet. Combining the Go For Detox food supplement, composed in particular of zinc, prebiotics and probiotics, with the Balance Your Pores treatment will optimize the effectiveness of your product.

Are there any contraindications for using Balance Your Pores in pregnant women?

This product contains 1% perfume based on essential oils. At this percentage, no contraindications appear to be noted for pregnant women. However, we still advise you to consult your doctor.
