WHAT IS A DETOX CURE?

Originally English, “ detox ” has become a popular word in the French language. Treatments detox would come from naturopathy which treats diseases in a natural way. Throughout the duration of the cure, you must take care of your body: alcohol, tobacco, fatty foods, coffee are banned from the diet. Fruits and vegetables are therefore preferred!

Dry brushing, as its name suggests, is the action of brushing the body, dry, using a brush with hard bristles and with specific movements. Admittedly, it is not a food, but combined with your detox cure , your body will thank you!

How to do ?
- Bring a specific brush for dry brushing.
- The best time: before the shower.
- Always brush the body from the bottom upwards and from the center outwards, for the stimulation of the lymphatic system. Start by brushing the soles of the feet, go up on the legs. Then legs go up to the belly. Brush in circular, clockwise motions. For the arms start with the palm of the hand, then go up towards the chest. Then brush the back.
- Each movement can be repeated ten times. It's best not to press too hard, the idea being to tone your body, not bruise it.

Drain your toxins with a lymphatic self-massage of the face and neck

The lymphatic system is in charge of eliminating toxins and bacteria and a part of its system is located on the neck and under the jaw.
A massage of this area will facilitate the elimination of accumulated toxins.

How to do ?
Ideally, use a vegetable oil that is compatible with your skin type if possible to appreciate its nutritious effects. Jojoba oil is the most universal oil. Its composition being close to that of sebum, it nourishes dry skin and balances combination and oily skin.

-Warm the oil between your hands.
-Start by placing your hands on each side, on your collarbones. Apply the fingers gently to stimulate the ganglia which are in the hollow of the bone.
-Then, hands in parallel, go up massaging lightly, on the sides of your neck. Stop at the level of the jaw, under the ear, in the hollow, to massage the area lightly.
-Then go up behind the ears. Gently massage the area.
-You can then massage your face from top to bottom, insisting on the area under the cheekbones.

A massage of the face and neck should always be done with a light hand, avoiding too much "pulling" the skin.
